THE BRIDGE   THE CANAL BASIN

K&A CANAL BRIDGE 177

This picturesque wooden bridge is a replacement for a much earlier stone bridge on the same site. This was recently brought to light by the discovery of a photograph in which the original bridge is visible beyond the wing wall of Dundas Aqueduct.
