Lock 15 is back in water for the first time in eight years
On Sunday 1st June, the SCCS Work Party arrived to find Lock 15 in water for the fist time since Spring of 2000. The recent diversion work at the Bulls Nose and the channels dug across the pounds from Lock 11 down to Lock 15, combined with recent heavy rain, have delivered enough water to Lock 15 to partly fill it, despite serious leakage.
